Laptop Scholarships
HSEF
Program Overview:
A non-profit dedicated to bridging the digital divide. They provide refurbished high-quality laptops to students in developing regions (Africa, Philippines, Pacific Islands), empowering them to pursue online education.
Requirements:
- Have completed PC 101
- Currently registered with BYU-Pathway
- Looking for a job
- Willing to attend the weekly career chats

- Contact your BYU-Pathway mentor

Program Overview:
A charitable focus on lifting African students out of poverty. They grant free laptops to dedicated BYU-Pathway learners who lack the technology needed to complete their degree programs.
Requirements:
- Must be a student in Africa
- Demonstrated financial need
- Competitive application via Student Dashboard
How to Apply:
- Visit site & create an account
- Fill out the form
- Important: Have your Student ID ready (learn to get your school ID)

Heber J. Grant (HJG)
Overview:
BYU-Pathway's primary financial aid program, designed to help students start debt-free. It provides tuition discounts (10-50%) to PathwayConnect and Online Degree students based on financial need.
Prerequisites:
PathwayConnect:
- Register for courses
- Complete self-reliance lesson in portal
Online Degree:
- Apply at program start (reapply every 2 years)
- Register at least 3 days before semester starts
How to Apply:
- Log in to your Student Portal
- Click on Finances menu
- Select Heber J. Grant Scholarship
- Complete the interactive lesson

Overview:
A philanthropic initiative by Brad Hall Companies to foster self-reliance. They offer supplementary tuition grants for students living outside the USA to help cover degree costs.
Prerequisites:
- Must reside outside the United States
- Completed PathwayConnect
- Enrolled in an Online Degree program
- Maintain a major GPA of 2.0 or higher
